John enjoys leading a team of the industry's best individuals with a focus on design, supply, and installations of many types of sustainable and modern facade systems. 

A unique background with 30 years of experience from the "ground up" gives John the understanding of how systems are brought together from design to installation. 

John not only expresses creative thinking through his CIB business model but as well he is the inventor of the patented TcLip™ thermally-broken framing system, and a published writer and artist. 

John's strong values in partnership, collaboration, and value in people, form the foundations upon which both Engineered Assemblies and Praxy Cladding are built upon and continue to grow.

Kurt brings over 30 years of financial leadership experience – ten in the world of public accounting and 20 in the private enterprise world of business services and manufacturing. He brings experience in mergers and acquisitions, as well as divestitures. He has experience dealing with the pressures created by rapid growth (both organic as well as through acquisitions) and the integration of acquired businesses.

He has been successful in building finance departments from scratch, including the selection, project management and implementation of software applications , implementing finance and accounting processes, internal control structures, as well as budgeting and forecasting processes.

Darren’s passion for development and creative design are backed by 9 years in the facade industry. Darren enjoys finding creative solutions for value engineering; creating a balance between architectural vision and constructability costing. His experience includes projects of all sizes; ranging from small retrofits to large commercial projects. Since joining EA in 2013 Darren has worked on numerous projects, naming Shannon Estates, Langara Science building and Edmonton Police Service building among his favourites. 

Eric is passionate about architecture, having started his career in the construction industry as an architectural technician. He has worked for major architectural firms recognized in Montreal including Lemay & Michaud and Provencher Roy.  Eric took part in the construction of large-scale projects such as the Bell Center, the Hull Casino and the IGA Tennis Stadium.  He deepened his technical knowledge of the building envelope at the metal siding manufacturer Vicwest to become Sales Director of aluminum panel systems for Quebec. He continued his apprenticeship for 4 years on site as a project manager for two major contractors specializing in metal coating. Since 2014, Eric has represented Engineered Assemblies for Quebec with experience on major projects including the Augustines Monastery, Place Ste-Foy, 6750 Esplanades and Olympia NDT.
 

Jeff Ker’s thirty plus years of technical sales experience with the Ontario Architectural and Design community benefit each project he undertakes. His experience includes two years in the West-Coast market and eleven years in the Eastern-Canadian market; representing a variety of RVRS systems. With a solid background in technical sales, project management and liaison with the construction community; Jeff enjoys a tireless passion with matters of a technical nature in his personal and professional life. Jeff is a regular technical article contributor to AWARD and Construction Canada magazines.

Born and raised in the north-central prairies, Ian is no stranger to the beautiful clear blue skies and the rugged cold that makes that part of Canada truly distinct. When Ian is not busy wishing the ice would melt on the nearby lakes so he can go fishing with his home-made mahogany runabout boat, Ian focuses his energies and expertise on working collaboratively with design consultants and installation sub-contractors to create inspirational and effective building façade systems.

As graduate of the Northern Institute of Technology (NAIT) Architectural Technology program, Ian continually updates his understanding of building envelope technology through a combination of curiosity, building experience and ongoing industry training. Ian is a Certified Technical Representative (CTR) with the Edmonton branch of the Canadian Specifications Canada association.

Ian’s project experience includes; hospitals & clinics, schools & educational institutions, housing, transit facilities & shelters, libraries, police & fire stations, recreation centres & pools, office buildings and dealerships.

Ian's goal is to become your trusted adviser for our building facades and metal roofing solutions and to enable subcontractors to efficiently fabricate and install these systems, adding his decades of expertise to help unite the house of design with the field of construction.

With over 15 years of experience in the construction sector, Joel uses a consultative approach to help and support his clients achieve their vision. Musaab graduated from Damascus University, with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, in 2007.
 
He began his professional career in Dubai, UAE, working for landmark architectural firms where he was involved in a number of projects ranging from office buildings to multi-family housing.
 
With these opportunities, he has developed a significant base of knowledge regarding building envelopes & sustainable façade cladding materials.
 
This knowledge allows him to find optimal design solutions to meet his clients’ objectives, and has given him the ability to master the complexity of each project’s details.
 
Musaab brings his 13 years of professional experience to Engineered Assemblies. His knowledge of creating and finding solutions, combined with his architectural background will facilitate exchanges with clients, consultants and contractors, and will ensure that projects run smoothly from start to finish.

With over 9 years’ experience serving Vancouver’s design and architectural community, Alvin joins Engineered Assemblies as the new Sales Coordinator for Western Canada. He fulfills a growing demand for project estimation and sales support from Manitoba to BC and the north.

Alvin’s background in architectural studies and industrial design marries his passion for creative solutions and technical know-how. He’s highly motivated to meet the needs of subcontractors and architects alike who share a vision for long term, sustainable design.

In his downtime, Alvin enjoys playing street hockey poorly but passionately. He’s also an avid drawer and prolific starter of home improvements projects.

Bob brings over 4 decades of experience in materials engineering and materials production technologies. This wealth of knowledge is adapted and used instructively with the design and construction communities in pursuit and implementation of high quality sustainable materials in association with EA’s proven expertise with high performing thermally efficient RV rainscreen facades.  He has a firm commitment to the construction community in ensuring that the objectives mandated by the architectural design community are achieved. 
He has worked on multiple construction projects in the harsh maritime climatic environments of Atlantic Canada since 2013.
 

Laurie has been with EA since January 2018, evolving into her current role as Marketing and Inside Sales Support. She is the primary contact for all marketing-related activities at EA.

With 5 years of experience in accounting, Lovleen has strong ability to apply accounting knowledge to diverse range of financial issues. She takes care of the day-to-day activities including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Taxes, Profitability and more.

Steve has operated in the construction industry for 30 years, most of which has been in metal roofing and cladding. He has operated in the field as a tradesperson, selling to architects and in operations. This wide background brings value to clients in managing customer contracts with sales and successfully managing the material purchasing side of operations with project management. Steve has been a member of CSC and TCA for many years.

Tina has many years making sure builders have what they need to make sure jobs go well. Shauna’s role in EA’s marketing department serves to support the sales efforts through best in class marketing materials, coordinating with our global manufacturers, as well as all external communication activities. Before EA, Shauna worked at advertising agencies in Vancouver + Toronto for 18 years in Canada on some of the most iconic brands on the globe. 

With an extensive knowledge and more than 15 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Tax and bookkeeping. Yadhushan oversees the A/R, A/P, and bookkeeping functions; and works closely with Project Management/Sales on inquiries involving accounting.  Prior to joining Engineered Assemblies in April of 2014, he held accounting roles in the manufacturing and service sectors.
